His extensive experience spans locating, purchasing, developing, and operating mines for construction materials and industrial sands, overseeing more than 40 mining and storage operations across 10 states and nine mineral types.
Throughout his career, Miles has held roles ranging from Operations Manager to President, giving him comprehensive knowledge of reserve evaluation, mine planning, lease negotiations, permitting, facility design, equipment procurement, and operational management. His expertise includes developing mining properties, quantifying mineable volumes, evaluating production costs, and analyzing market royalty rates and pricing for construction materials like structural fill, sand and gravel, stone, and industrial sands.
Miles has worked with major mining producers to optimize operations, improving production rates, resource recovery, and processing efficiency. His efforts have consistently delivered measurable results, such as increased product yields, reduced costs per ton, and more efficient mine planning and material movement strategies.
