John Smithen serves as a Senior Project Manager at Mining Companies participating in all phases of project analysis, development, and implementation. John has more than 40 years of experience in the mining and construction industry, from beginning as a laborer on a crew to owning his own company. Since joining the Mining Companies team, he has been engaged in many projects that include mine planning, reserve quantification and analysis, equipment selection and procurement, mining operations design, and optimization.
